I am a theatre practitioner and researcher with a passion for using theatre for social and personal change.

My artistic practice is concerned with the use of personal testimony in theatre. I use theatre as a platform to share people’s stories and create spaces where people can come together and to listen and from the experience of others.Since 2006, I have created a number of plays which incorporate the experiences and memories of real people. These plays have dealt with subjects such as domestic violence, cancer, road safety, war, activism and nature. I am currently working with Geese Theatre and Talk15 to develop two new theatre of testimony projects.

I am an also experienced facilitator and have delivered a wide variety of theatre and drama workshops which focus on personal development and change. Recently, I have started training as a kinesiologist and have completed Foundation levels 1-6. I will be continuing on to the Advanced Professional Practitioner Level in September 2018.

Originally from Limerick, I currently live in Bristol and lecture in Drama at Bath Spa University. Please contact me if you would like to discuss my work in further detail.
